LEXINGTON, Ky. — A former employee of fugitive former disability attorney Eric C. Conn appeared in court this morning, to answer charges in an indictment unsealed this week.
LEX 18 reports Curtis Lee Wyatt pleaded not guilty to charges he assisted Conn in his escape.
Wyatt is alleged to have assisted Conn’s disappearance by setting up a Mexican bank account, scouting border crossings into Mexico, and obtaining a 2002 Dodge Ram believed to be the vehicle in which Conn fled.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Wier allowed Wyatt to remain under house arrest until his trial on Dec. 18.
