UPike is now providing Narcan training on Tuesdays and Thursdays to students, faculty and community members. This training is made possible through a grant from the Kentucky CHFS. Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs KYCOM at UPike  Dr. Joshua Crum says that we’ve had such an opioid epidemic here, not only in Eastern Kentucky but across our state and country. Crum says this free training only lasts about 30 minutes and could make people more aware of administering this treatment to anyone who is overdosing.
