During a gathering at the Mountain Arts Center on Wednesday, September 11, Governor Matt Bevin announced $667,000 for Floyd County, $145,702 for the city of Prestonsburg, and $77,800 for the city of Wayland in discretionary funding for area pavement improvements. Another conference was held at the Country Music Highway Museum in Paintsville where Bevin also announced $197,788 for the city of Paintsville and $378,041 for Johnson County. These investments support the Governor’s commitment to prioritize transportation infrastructure projects and increase economic opportunity across the Commonwealth.
