Over the weekend, local law enforcement was made aware of alleged social media threats made against Pikeville Elementary by some of the students. Pikeville Elementary School Principal Robert Jones sent out a letter to students on Monday informing their parents or guardians that the school is aware of the situation and are cooperating fully with the Pikeville Police Department during their investigation.
