Officials and members of the Eastern Kentucky community gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to honor the opening of The Hal Rogers Advanced Technology Center at Big Sandy Community and Technical College on Thursday. Speakers included KY State Senator Ray Jones, President/CEO of Big Sandy Community and Technical College Dr. Sherry Zylka, and U.S. Congressman Hal Rogers. They each touched on how important the Advanced Technology Center will be to our community and how it will provide more career paths for Eastern Kentuckians.
