Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear will reveal new business restrictions on Wednesday.
During his Tuesday daily media briefing, Beshear told reporters that he will be revealing new measures that will order additional businesses in Kentucky to close in order to help slow the spread of coronavirus COVID-19. The new restrictions will take effect Thursday at 8 p.m.
Beshear did not specify what types of businesses will be forced to temporarily close to in-person traffic, other than to say non-life sustaining businesses will be included in the order. When asked for details, Beshear said Wednesday’s order will detail the new action.
The actions to be included in Wednesday’s order will build upon Beshear’s previous order that ordered the temporary closure of non-essential businesses in Kentucky. That set of closures took effect at 8 p.m. Monday.
