BELFRY, Ky. — A man was arrested after he was found passed out in Belfry High School.

Cleaning staff went into the school just after 4 a.m. Tuesday, when they found 31-year-old Bobby Cantrell passed out in the gymnasium. They told police they woke him up and asked him to leave, but he refused, saying he was homeless and needed somewhere to sleep.

When police arrived, they determined that Cantrell appeared to be under the influence, and he reportedly told them he had taken Suboxone earlier in the day.

Cantrell was arrested for first-degree trespassing, menacing and public intoxication.
