Anyone who had been thinking about running for public office in Kentucky had until today to make their final decision, as 4pm was the filing deadline.  Officials in the Pike County Clerk’s office say the next step as we move toward May’s primary election will happen at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, when the candidates running for office in Pike County will draw for ballot position.  The drawing is open to the public and will be held in the voter registration office at the Pike County Courthouse.
