Counties in the region, Logan County reported 6.8 percent unemployment which is up from October’s 6.1 percent. McDowell County reported 8.7 percent in November up from 7.9 percent reported in October and Mingo County reported 7.7 percent unemployment rate in November which is up from October’s 6.7 percent. Statewide, West Virginia reported 4.8 percent unemployment rate for the month of November.
