$100,000 worth of materials stolen from business

An abandoned business in Floyd County was robbed of nearly $100,000 worth of materials. Floyd County Sheriff Deputy Darrin Lawson says on Thursday that Dyno Nobel had sent a corporate member to do surveillance of the property and had discovered a fence near the front entrance was destroyed and they were missing numerous items from storage. These items included two metal sheds, eight air conditioning units, all wiring and copper was removed from each building, two heat furnaces, two storage trailers, and much more. Lawson says that someone had witnessed an older model, white Chevy Trailblazer with a trailer attached and saw 3 guys, on the property, getting in and out of the vehicle.
