
ROBINSON CREEK, Ky. — A Pike County man pulled over for a suspected DUI while driving an ATV on US 23 found himself also heading to jail on drug trafficking charges.
A state trooper spotted Joseph Dewayne Hopkins, 37, of Shelbiana, driving his Honda Fourtrax 400 across multiple lanes of traffic on US 23 near Robinson Creek around 9:30 Tuesday morning.
After pulling him over and arresting him for DUI, the officer found more than 2 grams of meth, along with scales, plastic bags and a large amount of cash.
Hopkins was charged with DUI, meth trafficking, meth possession and numerous other charges.
