SHELBY GAP, Ky. — A Pike County husband and wife are dead, after their bodies were discovered Tuesday morning.

Kentucky State Police was called to a report of a shooting at a home on Kelly Mountain Road. When they arrived, they found the bodies of Rickie Potter, 57, and Sabrina Potter, 51, dead from gunshots.

Police say the initial investigation has concluded that Rickie Potter’s wounds were self-inflicted, and there is no active search for any other suspects.

The incident remains under investigation.
