Hillbilly Superstars – Official Rules & Information

Hillbilly Superstars is returning for its second year at the 48th Annual Hillbilly Days. This singing competition gives talented performers the chance to compete for exciting prizes and perform live at one of Eastern Kentucky’s largest festivals.

How to Enter:
1. Submit a 30-second to 1-minute video of yourself singing with a backing track or a cappella at hillbillysuperstars.com.
2. Our panel of judges will review submissions. If accepted, you’ll move on to the voting round.
3. Once accepted, it’s up to you to secure votes to advance in the competition!

No instruments are allowed during auditions or live performances—only backing tracks or a cappella.

Voting:
One free vote per contestant per hour

Competition Categories:
Hillbilly Superstars Jr. (Ages 5-11) – The top 10 with the most votes move on to the live competition.
Hillbilly Superstars (Ages 12 & up) – The top 15 with the most votes move on to the live competition.

Live Performances at Hillbilly Days:

Finalists will perform one song (max 3 minutes and 30 seconds) live on stage in front of a huge festival audience and a panel of judges. The event will also be broadcast on TV and other media outlets.
Hillbilly Superstars Jr. – Thursday, April 24 (Winner announced same day)
Hillbilly Superstars – Friday, April 25
Finale – Saturday, April 26
