News Director
Davis has been covering news in the mountains for nearly three decades, first as a newspaper editor, then as news director for EKB-TV. Prior to returning to Pikeville, he was a news producer at WLEX, in Lexington.
Sheldon Compton
Assistant News Director
Sheldon Compton is the assistant news director in the news division here at Mountain Top Media. Born and raised in Pike County, he has a combined 25 years of experience as a journalist in the area. Compton is also an Appalachian novelist with more than a dozen published books over the last decade. He can be found on Twitter/X @ShelCompton and also on Facebook.

Cody Davis

Cody Davis is a veteran Appalachian sports journalist and content creator. A University of Pikeville graduate currently completing his master’s at Arkansas State, Cody oversees sports content and leads a new internship program connecting students with real-world media experience.

Ethan Miller

Ethan is the Director of Social Media for Mountain Top Media. Ethan has extensive knowledge of social media trends and effective methods to get the word out.
Jerry Scott
Content Creator
Jerry has been an on-air talent for Mountain Media Radio since 2019, after breaking into the broadcasting field in 2003. Jerry hosts the weekly show Trust Me on Mountain Top TV and is a co-anchor of the Mountain Top Daily.
Bradley Loader
Content Creator
Bradley Loader is from Pikeville, Kentucky. He’s worked here since May 2016, and is the primary production assistant. Bradley records and edits videos, including the news, and schedules programs for television.
Dave Stanford
Director of Ops and IT
Dave is the Director of Operations and IT for Mountain Top Media. He is a broadcasting veteran of over 39 years and is a graduate of Morehead State University.
