WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Four people were arrested in Mingo County on drug charges.
Thursday, the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Drug Task Force, Williamson Police Department and West Virginia State Police served a warrant at a residence on Vinson Street in Williamson. The warrant was issued to 61-year-old Devonna Thorn for multiple counts of delivery of crack cocaine from her residence.
Upon arrival, three others were also in the home. They include: 47-year-old Torrance Vaughin, of Ohio, 31-year-old Josh Murphy of Williamson, West Virginia and 43-year-old Michael Smith of McAndrews, Kentucky.
Vaughin was found in possession of marijuana and over $1,100 in cash.
All of the individuals were placed under arrest for conspiracy to deliver controlled substances.
Thorn was also charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.
All four were lodged in the Southwestern Regional Jail in Holden.
