Pike Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Bartley said he is “tired” of dealing with the daughter of an alleged cop-killer.
21-year-old Santana Fay Hall, was arrested last Saturday after allegedly being found extremely intoxicated at the residence of her father John Russell Hall, the man accused of murdering Pikeville Police Officer Scotty Hamilton. Hall allegedly was lying on the ground screaming for her father to let her in his residence when police arrived at the scene.

Court documents said she later fought with police and assaulted two Kentucky State Police troopers. Bartley said Hall has done same thing several times before, and he has had enough of dealing with her alleged drug-fueled antics.
Hall was charged in the indictment with two felony counts of third-degree assault, and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. She could face up to five years in prison for assaulting the officers.
At the time of Santana Hall’s arrest, John Russell Hall was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center in relation to being charged with Officer Hamilton’s murder.
