Now, his daughter is in jail with him, accused of assaulting a police officer over the weekend.

Police were called to John Hall’s residence Saturday afternoon, after reports that 21-year-old Santana Hall was lying on the ground and screaming for him to come outside. The caller added that she appeared to be intoxicated.

When officers from Kentucky State Police arrived, they say she immediately became argumentative, and the officers determined that she was intoxicated. When they asked her to get into the back of the police car, she allegedly tried to flee, then became involved in a scuffle with the troopers.

Once she was finally handcuffed, she was taken to Pikeville Medical Center to be treated for a high level of intoxication, before being taken to jail. She is charged with felony assault, public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and menacing.
