PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The University of Pikeville will host the American Shakespeare Center Wicked Folly tour next week for two productions. Monday, January 22nd, the group will perform William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Following the performance, the audience is invited to stay for a “talk back” to discuss the performance with the cast. Tuesday, January 23rd, the group will perform Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. Both productions will be held at 7 p.m. in Booth Auditorium, located in the Record Booth Memorial building. The performance is hosted by UPIKE Division of Humanities. Tickets for both shows are $5 each and available at the door. Proceeds will be donated to Turning Point Domestic Violence Services, which serves Pike, Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin and Martin counties.
