Pike County, KY — An assault and a threat to kill a man has landed a Pike County man in jail. Kentucky State Police responded to a domestic complaint in the McCarr area of Pike County Sunday afternoon. The caller told troopers he had witnessed 53-year-old Jerry Bryon Hill grabbing Gorgetta Hill’s arm and rearing back as if to hit her. The witness told Troopers that Jerry Hill threatened to kill Gorgetta Hill’s son, Joe Adkins. Mrs. Hill showed Troopers bruises and scratch marks made by Jerry Hill. As Jerry Hill was placed under arrest, he stated that Gorgetta Hill knows “what the repercussion is for this”. Troopers charged Jerry Bryon Hill with Assault 4th degree domestic violence and Terroristic Threatening 3rd degree and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center. Mrs. Hill declined medical treatment.
