WAYLAND, Ky.-  Kentucky State Police are conducting an investigation after finding a body buried in a shallow grave.  Troopers received information that led them to obtain a search warrant for a home in the Wayland community.  Thursday afternoon, they discovered a body buried in the back yard.   Not much information has been released other than the body will be sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort for an autopsy and identification.  No arrests have been made as of Thursday night.

The body was found in the general area where police have been searching for 26 year old Jordan Tackett, who was last seen in February.  At this point, no connection has been officially made between the two cases.
