PIKE COUNTY, KY.— A body found near Fishtrap Lake in Pike County has been identified.
Kentucky State Police received a call this afternoon of a body being found in the Biggs community of Pike County. The caller had indicated that the cause of death was a possible drowning. According to KSP Post- 9 Public Affairs Officer Trooper William Petry, the body of 52-year old James Wolford of Jamboree was found on Fishtrap Mine Road at Fishtrap Lake in the Fedscreek area. After further investigation the cause of death is not known at this time as drowning could not be confirmed. The investigation is ongoing.
