A federal judge has denied bond for a Pike County woman accused of taking inappropriate pictures of a toddler.

30 Year old Christina Mitchell was originally charged in June after police discovered inappropriate pictures of a 3 year old girl on her phone. However, the case was moved to federal court after she was indicted on federal charges October 25th.

Also, indicted in October was Mitchell’s boyfriend, Edward Manigault, who was also charged with producing and receiving child pornography.

Mitchell remains lodged at the Pike County Detention Center.
