WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — The Art Brigade hosted a book signing Friday in Williamson.
Local photographer and author Randall Sanger was featured at the Coal House in downtown Williamson for his recent release of his book, “Waterfalls of Virginia and West Virginia.”
Randall was on-hand to discuss the beauty of the featured landscapes with those in attendance.
Sanger has always enjoyed waterfalls and co-authored a book eight years ago about waterfalls at the New River Gorge. The new book is a guidebook on each waterfall in Virginia and West Virginia.
“It focuses equally on the photographs of the waterfalls,” said Sanger. “Most guidebooks are heavy on information, maybe not even have a lot of pictures. We wanted to produce something that would actually show people what the waterfalls look like when they get there. For folks of our area, the book is really great, especially the south West Virginia section and the New River Gorge section of West Virginia because many of these waterfalls are easy day trips.”
