COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UPIKE women knock off No. 14 Bethel; move to 4-1

The University of Pikeville women took the lead away from No. 14 Bethel in the final quarter and went on to score a 62-53 win in a game played on Saturday.

UPIKE, now 4-1, landed three players in double-figure scoring as Mary Englert led the way with a game-high 20 points.

Brianna Burbridge added a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds while Georgia Sideri tossed in 14.

The Bears will return to Appalachian Wireless Arena to face Milligan University (0-0) on Dec. 10. Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm.
