UPIKE men’s golf took to the course on Saturday afternoon, competing in the Saints Spring Invitational in Perry Park. The Bears managed a runner-up finish after shooting a team score of 300 (+12) through 18 holes.

Host school Thomas More claimed the title, edging the Bears by four strokes while Spalding finished third shooting a 315 (+8). Georgetown College rounded out the four-team field with a 317 (+29)

On the player leaderboards, UPIKE’s Blake Maupin and Blake Moody shot 72 for par on the day which tied them for third place.

The top finishers were Thomas More’s Landon Finn who finished two strokes under and Kyle Alexander who finished second with a 71.
