The University of Pikeville volleyball team was in top form as the Bears swept UC-Clermont and Alice Lloyd College in a tri-match played at the UPIKE Gymnasium on Saturday.

Hunter Clewis and Yeryvel Catala led with 10 and nine kills, respectively in the 30-28, 25-19, and 25-22 win. Leigh Johnson finished with 27 assists and17 digs while Brittany Reels totaled 17 digs.  

Former Betsy Layne standout Megan Frazier led UPIKE with 15 kills in the 25-12, 25-11, 24-26 and 25-15 win. Reels added 15 digs. UPIKE plays at Alice Lloyd at 7 p.m. today
