US Army Corps of Engineers officials at Dewey Lake are spreading the word about an upcoming event aimed at bringing Halloween and boating safety together. Natural Resource Specialist Glenda Robinson says “Harvest in the Park” is a safe trick-or-treat event that will be held October 19th from noon to 4pm in the playground area right below Dewey Dam. Robinson also stressed that local businesses are welcome to set up at the event and give out candy to the kids.
