Pikeville, KY — An Elkhorn City man is facing several charges after scuffling with law enforcement. Kentucky State Police Troopers responded to a disturbance call Wednesday to find 46-year-old Charles Derossett on the kitchen floor screaming, cursing and being disorderly. As Troopers helped Derossett to his feet, he became belligerent and attempted to pull away. Troopers physically restrained Derossett to handcuff him. Derossett was transported to the Pike County Detention Center and charged with 4th degree Assault, Resisting Arrest, 2nd degree Disorderly Conduct and Menacing.
