Lawrence County, KY — A father and son have been charged with burglary in Lawrence County. According to authorities, 56-year-old Carl Daniels and his son 34-year-old Carl Daniels Jr. both of Martin County, were stopped in Blaine for not have a valid license plate. Police report that inside their vehicle was multiple items that belonged to a person who had a residence on Muddy Branch which they had just left from. Both father and son admitted to taking the items without the owner’s knowledge or consent. In addition to the stolen items, there was drug paraphernalia found inside the vehicle. Both were lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on Burglary charges and drug paraphernalia charges.
