A house fire Friday morning in Lawrence County destroys a home and leaves a family starting over.

Crews were called to the house fire on Kentucky 3398 in Fallsburg around two Friday morning.

Due to lack of water in the area, Fallsburg Fire Department called for assistance from Louisa, Fort Gay and Big Sandy Fire Departments.

No injuries were reported and the home was a total loss.
