PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Floyd County man is facing federal charges related to child pornography.

Joshua Keith Lawson, 31, of Ivel, was charged in U.S. District Court in Pikeville earlier this month with possessing and distributing child pornography on Oct. 26. Court records detailing the nature of the allegations remain sealed.

On Friday, a federal judge found probable cause for a grand jury to review the case.

Lawson remains in the Pike County Detention Center without bond.
