Floyd Central erased a six-run deficit on the road at Perry Central before the Commodores snapped a tie with four runs in the bottom of the sixth to escape 10-6 on Monday night.

Brant Potter had three hits, including a triple and drove in two runs while scoring for Floyd Central, which fell to 7-12. Losing pitcher Dylan Mosley added two singles and knocked in one run.

Caleb Hager singled in one run and scored while Max Martin added a pair of singles and scored.

Prestonsburg pushed across seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull away and beat Morgan County, 11-2, in a game played at StoneCrest Sports Complex on Monday night.

Nic Kidd doubled, walked, scored twice. and knocked in three runs as the Blackcats improved to 10-6. Brayden Slone singled, walked, scored two runs. and added an RBI. Wes Salisbury doubled in one run and scored.

Kaden Allen was the winning pitcher.
