HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: Man falls in 10 innings to Wahama in title game

Wahama had six extra base hits, including three home runs, as the undefeated White Falcons scored seven runs in the 10th inning to eliminate Man, 11-4, in the Class A, Region IV softball championship game played on Wednesday night.

The Lady Billies saw their season end at 18-4 while Wahama (24-0) advances to the state tournament next week.

Ashlee Tomblin had three hits, including a double, and drove in one run in the loss. Losing pitcher Morga Cooper walked twice and scored a run. Jacklyn Barnett singled three times, walked, and scored. Kalilla Collins added two hits and scored.
