Man’s Kiersten singled and scored the game’s only run in the top of the seventh inning to lift the Lady Billies to a 1-0 win over top-seeded Sherman in a winner’s bracket matchup played at Seth on Friday night.

Morgan Cooper tossed a two-hit shutout as Man improved to 17-2 while dropping the Tide to 14-4. Losing pitcher Chloe Treadway allowed five hits. The run was unearned.

Ashlee Tomblin added two singles while Jacklyn Barnett and Bailey Muncy each added a single.
