
Breathitt County, Ky.–An Owsley County woman has been formally charged in a Breathitt County murder case that happened over a year ago.
Family members say 42-year-old Joy Turner was a loving and caring person who trusted everyone. They say it is that trusting nature that ended up killing her. Turner was found dead in a mobile home on Longs Creek Road on September 1st of last year. She had been shot in the head.
Now, 38-year-old Imojean Daniels, who lists her address as Booneville, has been charged with killing her. Daniels was indicted on a single count of murder by a Breathitt County grand jury yesterday. She will be arraigned on the charge next week. Daniels is currently being held in the Three Forks Regional Jail on a 750 thousand dollar bond.
