South Williamson, KY — During an interdiction patrol, Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies made a traffic stop in the South Williamson area. During the investigation, K9 Copper made a positive alert and deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. Deputies located Marijuana and a loaded handgun concealed illegally inside the vehicle. The driver, 30-year- old Shawnda Varney of McCarr was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and various traffic related violation and was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.                                                                                                                                                                   Shawnda Varney
