FRANKFORT, Ky. — Instead of buying a bunny for Easter, why not a bear?
Kentucky State Police is selling “Trooper Teddy Bears” from now until March 4. The bears are adorned in a KSP t-shirt and trademark state trooper hat.
Proceeds from the sale go to benefit the “Trooper Teddy Project,” which provides the teddy bears to children in traumatic situations, such as a car crash, exposure to drugs or domestic abuse case resulting in the arrest of a parent.
You can buy one of the bears or make a tax-deductible contribution to the project by visiting kentuckystatepolice.org.
