Kentucky State Police officials at Post 9 are gearing up for their annual night race in downtown Prestonsburg, the Run Signal 9 5K.  The actual race will be Saturday, August 30th at 8:30pm, but this year, participants will have another option.  Race organizer, Melanie Taulbee, says those who cannot make the actual race, which is on Labor Day weekend, will have the option to do a “virtual run” at another time and/or location.  Those who chose that option will still get the race t-shirt and finisher medal.  For more information, contact Melanie Taulbee at Post 9 at 606-433-7711.
