It’s a constant struggle with local volunteer fire departments, with not only attracting volunteers, but also with paying the bills and keeping fire stations open. Several departments in Letcher County got together Thursday to discuss ways to help keep fire departments operating. EKB News Reporter Chris Anderson has the story.
