The classic Windmill Restaurant is now being renovated to re-open, but with new leasing owners. The new restaurant will be Sal’s Steak & Ribs and features a new menu but in the same location across from the Daniel Boone Inn. The new property owners, Judy and Bennett Adkins, state that they have updated the roof of the building, added heating and cooling units, new vent hoods in the kitchen area, new city hookups for wastewater, propane/electric hookups, and new ceilings. Sal’s Steak & Ribs will be set to open by October 1st.
