Frankfort, KY — Governor Matt Bevin continues to make appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions. Three people have been appointed from the region as members of the Big Sandy Community and Technical College Board of Directors. Jeffery Michael Shannon, of Louisa, is the IT coordinator for Floyd County Area Technical College. He will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2025. Pamela C. Howard, of Pikeville, is a retired physical therapist. She will serve for a term expiring December 9 of this year. Ramona Laney, of Pikeville, is the AVP marketing officer for Citizens Bank of Kentucky. She will serve for a term expiring December 9, 2023. Big Sandy Community and Technical College, in Prestonsburg, is one of 16 two-year, open-admissions institution of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
