Lt. Governor welcomes new baby girl

The family of Kentucky’s lieutenant governor welcomed the newest edition of their family over the weekend.

According to her official Facebook page, Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman gave birth to a 6-lb., 7-oz. baby girl Saturday morning. Baby Evelynne Jeanette Coleman-O’Bryan is Coleman’s first child with her husband Chris, and is in addition to three step-children.

Mom and baby seem to be doing just fine. In recognition of Evelynne’s birth, the governor’s mansion in Frankfort was lit up in pink.
