Kentucky State Police at the Pikeville Post responded to a domestic violence complaint on Rocky Road in the Millard community Tuesday evening. Responding Troopers met with the alleged victim at a neighbor’s residence and the victim informed them that her boyfriend, 45-year-old Kevin Adams of Belcher had struck her in the chin with his fist. After the alleged altercation, the victim left their residence and went to a neighbor to call authorities. Troopers located Adams as he was coming off the porch. Troopers identified themselves at which time Adams fled on foot leading Troopers on a brief chase. After being placed in custody, Adams was transported to the Pike County Detention Center and charged with Assault 4th degree, domestic violence, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree and failure to notify of address change.
