Pikeville, KY — We have this update to a story we covered in late May. A Floyd County man has been indicted by a Pike County Grand Jury on theft by unlawful taking, a class D Felony. 48-year-old Christopher Saylor of Harold was charged with unlawfully taking a welder valued at or more than $500.00 from the Rural King. On May 31st, the Coal Run Village Police Department asked for the public’s assistance in identifying a man leaving the Rural King store with a welder without paying for it. An indictment is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
