WISE, Va. — The Wise County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a man wanted on numerous charges.
The department is seeking the whereabouts of 24-year-old Lewis Wesley Hickman III, who is wanted for conspiracy, attempt to distribute crystal meth and attempt to distribute an imitation drug.
Hickman is also wanted in Lee County on an obstruction of justice charge, and faces a probation violation for a previous conviction on burglary, grand larceny, trespassing and shoplifting.
This afternoon, the Wise County Sheriff’s Office also announced Hickman is also wanted along with two other people as persons of interest in a shooting
that took place Saturday on Back Valley Road, in Wise County.
The others are Paige Elizabeth Carrol, of Big Stone Gap, and Aaron Leigh Adams, of Norton. The three have not been charged in relation to the shooting.
They are believed to be on foot in Lee County, after their car was found
abandoned on Strawberry Patch Road.
