Mingo County, WV — The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two people on drug and other charges. Deputy Allen Mounts and Deputy Jeremy Casey arrested Jason Lester and Kayla Peck both of Baisden, West Virginia in the Wharncliffe area of Mingo County. Lester was charged with DUI with a minor, fleeing authorities, child abuse, gross neglect by a parent, possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy. Peck was charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, simple possession with other charges pending. Assisting with the arrests was Gilbert Police Chief Mike Rasmussen.
