Frankfort, KY. — 2019 Miss Kentucky Teen USA was recognized Wednesday on the State Senate floor. Senator Johnny Ray Turner of Prestonsburg introduced 17-year-old Emma Johns, a junior at Pikeville High School to the Senate. By earning the Miss Kentucky Teen USA title, she will represent the Commonwealth in the upcoming Miss Teen USA Pageant. Emma received a rare honor as she addressed the body from the President’s desk. The Senate unanimously passed Senate Resolution 96, sponsored by Senator Turner, acknowledging Emma and her achievement. Emma is the daughter of Ryan and Jennifer Johns of Pikeville.
