PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of an unidentified person in the Pikeville community of Pike County.

Police received a call from the homeowner of a residence on Sunny Lane this morning, advising shots had been fired at the residence.  Troopers and detectives arrived at the scene and discovered three men with gunshot wounds.  Two of the men are being treated at a local medical facility for non-life threatening injuries.  The third man was found dead at the scene.

Pike Deputy Coroner Zeb Hampton and Tran Star EMS also responded to the scene.

KSP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a blue Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows that is possibly connected to this incident.

This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detective Jason Dials.
