PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Throughout the region, damage assessments are still being made from last week’s heavy rain which brought down trees and caused numerous rock and mudslides. In Pike County, Judge Executive Ray Jones has spent the past two days meeting with employees and compiling lists and repair estimates. On Tuesday, he visited some of the worst locations, where mud and rock slides have caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. Anyone who has storm damage to report is urged to do so by calling the Pike County Judge Executive’s office at 606-432-6247.
