Pike County Man Arrested On Numerous Charges

Imagine being home at night when a stranger runs to your house wanting to come inside. That’s what happened in one Pike County neighborhood Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:45 pm on Fords Branch. Police were called to a home after someone called 911, reporting a man begging to get inside the home saying someone was after him. Before police arrived, the man used a ladder to climb onto the roof, but fled once they arrived. While searching for the suspect, they received another call from a homeowner on Fords Branch stating there was a man inside their residence refusing to leave.

State Troopers found 41 year old Billy Hall of Virgie, barricaded inside, refusing to come out. Troopers forced the door open and took him into custody.

Hall faces several charges including criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, wanton endangerment, public intoxication, resisting arrest, and fleeing or evading police.

He remains lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
